    Adelaide Car Club are seeking Expressions of interest from Hillclimbers looking for practice on the East Circuit REVERSE Hillclimb configuration.

    Competitors preparing for the 2025 Motorsport Australia Hillclimb Championship have been looking for a final opportunity to fine-tune their vehicles and familiarise themselves with the track layout 

    Set to take place on the Eastern Circuit, it will provide invaluable track time in the lead-up to the Motorsport Australia Hill Climb Championship, scheduled for 11 October 2025.

    The Hosts of the Australian Hillclimb Championship have run one weekday practice on this unique configuration. Delivery partner Kevin of Motorsport Solutions has identified Sunday July 27th as the only weekend we can run this reverse configuration in the leadup to the Australian Hillclimb Championship in October
    To make it viable he need minimum 75 entrants @ $250 each. 
    The aim is to get between 6 and 8 runs per Entry.

    Adelaide Car Club are hosting another Women on Track event, a special intro to motorsport day at Mallala. The one day training event at Mallala will take participants through a number of exercises from the skid pan to the race track to share skills and experience in a comfortable environment. We are also collaborating with other likeminded clubs to facilitate future activities to increase participation of women within the Motorsport.

    This is a great day to get some professional training representing incredible value to participants Supported by the Government of South Australia via the SA Car Club Program

    Course content

    • Starting, Stopping
    • High Speed Braking
    • Improved visual skills
    • Gear changing and sliding
    • Recover a slide
    • Professional guidance
    • Recovery techniques
    • Mechanical empathy
    • Adapting the seat and steering to higher speeds
    • High speed vision/planning
    • Gear changing: Auto, Manual, DSG
    • Car control: Understeer, Oversteer
    • Understanding driver assist technology when racing
    • Introductory advice on car preparation, set ups, tyres and brakes
    No previous experience required. Participants will use their own vehicle.

    Requirements

    • Well maintained vehicle
    • Cabin empty (no loose items)
    • Full tank of fuel
    • Helmet (Complying AS/NZS1698, Snell SA2000 or FIA 8860-2004 as min)
